Take a view - Landscape photographer of the year

The competition opened on 15th April 2011 and closed at 15th July 2011.  (Expect a similar timeline for 2012)

‘Take a view’ is an annual photographic competition open to everyone except employees of Lightworx Ltd or Light & Land Ltd, their families and relatives, and (except as set out below in this paragraph) anyone else connected with this competition. Top prize of £10,000 for the Landscape Photographer of the Year 2011. Entries must be of the United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands. Entries must have been taken within the five years immediately prior to the closing date.


The judges will choose the single best image from all four Adult categories. The photographer of this image will be awarded the prestigious title, ‘Landscape Photographer of the Year 2011’ and £10,000.
For the images judged to be the best in each of the four categories, there will be a prize of £1000.
For the images judged second in each of the four adult categories, there will be prizes of £500.

The exhibition of winning & commended entries will be at the National Theatre in London from: 5th December 2011 until 28th January 2012 and entry is free.
